SAB Class Cards
It has arrived!!!
I came home last night to find My Paper Pumpkin waiting for me outside my front door. Exciting!!
This months kit is called the ‘Hey There Try It’ kit and it’s very cute and slightly masculine. Because this is my first one I thought I would document the unwrapping. So here you go.
This is how the box looks as you first open it. Nicely wrapped in tissue paper.
X
Who cares about the tissue paper, we want to see what’s underneath!
X
The consumable supplies come wrapped up in plastic with the instruction sheet on the front with a picture of what the kit will make. This months kit will make 4 cards.
X
The consumable supplies include:
X
Each kit comes with the instructions which take you step by step through what is included in your kit and how to make the project shown on the front of the instruction sheet.
X
Ta-Da!!
This literally took me just over 5 minutes to make, which included looking for my glue dots that were hiding on me.
X
And Ta-Da #2! (with some changes)
As you can see you don’t have to stick with what they show you. You can add other supplies you already have and change the card to be your own creation. All I added here was 2 pieces of Lucky Limeade ribbon and a 3″ x 1.5″ piece of Whisper White card stock.
If you want to join the My Paper Pumpkin fun, head on over to www.mypaperpumpkin.com and sign up. It’s great fun!

12 Weeks of Christmas – Week 12
Gift Card Holder
P.S. if you click on the photo it shows up clearer.
Since gift cards are very popular gift during the holiday season I thought that I would show you how to make a very quick but pretty gift card holder that you can give your gift cards in.
Products Used
- Lucky Limeade card stock #122926
- Early Espresso card stock #119686
- Word Window punch #119857
- Candlelight Christmas DSP #126901
- Dimensionals #104430
- Glue Stick #104045
.Instructions
- Score your 10 3/4″ x 4 1/4″ Lucky Limeade card stock at 2″ and 6 1/2″ from the short end.
- Using your Word Window punch, punch out two overlapping sections approximately 1/2″ from either side. The easiest way to ensure that both punched areas align is to stick your card stock all the way in your punch until it comes to a stop. This will create the hole that you slide your gift card in to.
- Glue your 4″x4″ piece of DSP around the outside edges approximately 1/2″ wide, but not in the middle of the DSP. This will ensure the DSP sticks to your card front but doesn’t close up the hole you made with your punch. Now adhere the DSP to the front flap of your card holder covering the punched out section.
- Glue your 2″x2″ piece of DSP to your 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″ Early Espresso card stock.
- Glue your 4″ x 1 3/4″ piece of DSP to the top flap of your card holder.
- Place 2-3 Dimensionals along the back bottom edge of your Early Espresso 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4 piece.
- With the card holder closed and the top flap over top of the bottom flap adhere your dimensionaled piece of Early Espresso so that it covers the top flap by 1/4″ to 1/2″. Ensure that the dimensionals are at the bottom of your Early Espresso piece when you adhere it to the front flap. (See picture).
- Insert gift card.
- Happy gift giving!
That’s the last week of the 12 weeks of Christmas. I hope you have enjoyed it and been inspired to make some of these projects for yourself. If you have any feedback please send me an email or leave a comment. I would love to hear them.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Everyone!! Wishing you all peace, love and happiness.
